By opting into the ASL Mobile Alerts SMS service, you agree to the following terms:
1. Program Description
ASL Mobile Alerts provides automated SMS notifications regarding facility status. This includes, but is not limited to:
Environmental Alerts: High/low temperature warnings and power loss notifications.
Security Alerts: Door sensor triggers and security panel arming/disarming status.
2. Message Frequency & Rates
Message frequency varies based on system activity and user settings. Message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier. ASL is not responsible for any costs incurred by receiving these alerts.
3. Support & Help
For help with your alerts, submit a ticket to the ASL Help Desk.
4. How to Opt-Out
You may unsubscribe at any time. Visit the ASL Mobile Alerts Opt In / Out page on our intranet, fill out the Opt Out form, and submit. Your phone number will be removed from the list within two business days. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from ASL Alerts unless you opt back in.
5. Disclaimer of Liability
ASL provides these alerts for informational purposes. While we strive for real-time delivery, ASL does not guarantee the delivery of SMS messages, as delivery is subject to transmission from your network operator. SMS alerts should not be your sole method for monitoring life-safety systems.
